Verna Pauline Kropf Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Pauline Kropf (Buffalo, Missouri), born in Annawan, Illinois, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Kropf and Dorothy Kropf (Troyer); her son Edward (Martha) of Everton, MO; her siblings, Vera Hostetler (Duane Hostetler), Lorris and David, Jr.; her grandchildren, Laretta and Jacob; and her great grandchildren, Mason and Verle.
She is survived by: her children, Richard (Ellen) of Liberty, KY, Rosalie (Loren Hostetler) of Everton, MO, Harold (Carrie) of Wellsville, MO, Vernon (Judy) of Buffalo, MO, Edwin (Esther) of Everton, MO and Sharon (Joseph Swartzentruber) of Salem, AR.; her brother Stanley Kropf (Judy) of Mineral Springs, AR; and her siblings-in-law, Duane Kropf of Nashville, AR, Wayne Kropf of Buffalo, MO, Dennis Kropf and Wanda Blosser (Paul). She is also survived by 50 grandchildren; 128 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant View Amish-Mennonite Church (338 Prairie Grove Rd, Buffalo, MO 65622). A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at the Will Follow Funeral Services.
