With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Chapman of Buffalo, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Chapman and Grace Chapman (Gaunt); his siblings, Harold Chapman, John Jackson "Jackie" Chapman, Robert "Bob" Chapman, Virginia Alford, Elizabeth "Betty" Chapman, Josephine "Josie" Chapman and Mara Lou Bradley; and his son Joe Bill McDowell (Ruby Chapman).
He is survived by: his significant other Ruby McDowell (Bonner); his children, Linda McDowell Clopp (Mike) and Ron McDowell (Helen); his grandchildren, Cecily Wilkinson (Mike), Erin Burtis (Eric), Sarah Van Bibber (Kevin) and Dr. Ryan McDowell (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Lauren Wilkinson, Charlie Wilkinson, Ava Burtis, Harper Burtis, Carter VanBibber, Clayton VanBibber, Zetta Ruby McDowell, Jessie McDowell, ZuZu McDowell and Josiah McDowell. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, it is asked that memorial contributions are given to CMH Hospice.
