He is survived by: his wife Dora Lynne Dawson; his children, Tamala Wright (Wade), Christina Murphy (Kevin) of Birch Tree, MO, Casey Jones (Herc), Trish of Montreal, MO, Elizabeth Ann Yates, Laura McLean (Jon) of Farmington, MO and James Dale Yates (Hannah) of Bunker, MO.; his grandchildren, Nolan James, Jonathon Nash McLean, Ryker Dale, Remi Lynne, Rhett Anthony, Ripley Case Yates and Sophie Elizabeth Yates; and his siblings, Geneva Pennington (Roger) of Viche, Patricia Wilson of Herman, Brenda Pennington (Ronnie) of Mountain View and Billy Joe Yates of Dixon, MO.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
