He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Monteith and Henrietta Diebold Monteith; and his son Gary James "Jim" Monteith, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Monteith; his children, Kerri Wagner (Larry) of Burfordville and Scott Monteith of Marble Hill; his daughter-in-law Kim Monteith (late Jim) of Jackson; his grandchild Britney Doyal; his great grandchild Callie of Santa Fe, Texas; his grandson Jacob Monteith (Megan); his great grandchildren, Haven, Asher and Rose of Gordonville; his grandson Austin Doyal (Macy); his great grandchildren, Marshall and Ronan of Jackson; his grandson Joshua Doyal of Burfordville; and his sister Sharon Wolyniak (Dale).
