With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettie Scifers of Butler, Missouri, who passed away on October 31, 2022 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bettie Scifers to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Park Cox and Pearl Wade Cox; her husband William Scifers; and her siblings, Virginia Baker, David Cox and Sara Burch.

She is survived by: her sister Joan Ghere; and her children, Sandra McCurdy, Reid Scifers (Vera) and Robert Scifers (Karen). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to ProMedica Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
