Evelyn Dunlap Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Dunlap of Butler, Missouri, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Polly Philipine Diehl Fennewald and William Fennewald; her husband Alton Dunlap; her daughter Judy Schapeler; and her sister Areta Schapeler.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Dean Dunlap (Debbie) of Butler, Missouri; her son-in-law Philip Schapeler of Butler, Missouri; her grandchildren, Mandy Dunlap of Butler, Mark Schapeler of Butler, Matthew Schapeler of Lathrop, Jeffrey Dunlap (Christy) of Butler and Monte Schapeler of Butler Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Clutter, Nicholas Clutter, Jaxon Dunlap, Molly Kate Dunlap, Adrienne Kimball (Carl), Kennedy Green (Hunter) and Grant Griffin. She is also survived by 14 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (1301 N Orange St, Butler, MO 64730). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
