He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward William and Harriett Louise Maddy Paxton; and his wife Merle Paxton. He is survived by: his son Tom Paxton (Dorothy) of Butler, Missouri; his grandson Isaac Flint (Stephanie) of Houghton; and his sister Louanne Elefson of Butler, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (1301 N Orange St, Butler, MO 64730). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
