He is survived by: his wife Marge Beard of Kansas City, Missouri; his daughter Angie Kauffman (Kermit) of Butler, Missouri; his grandchildren, Kaleb Kauffman (Ceceily) of Butler and Lanie Kauffman (Lucas Vert) of Republic, Missouri; his great grandchild Dakota of Butler, Missouri; his sisters, Edna Fenimore (Darrell) of Weatherford and Kathryn Landers (Dale) of Omaha, Nebraska; his stepson Brandon Bowles (Beth); and his stepgrandchildren, Ella Bowles of California, Sophie Bowles of California, Lily Bowles of California, Kenzie Mitchell of Kansas City, Zach Mitchell (Ally) of Kansas City and Breanna Mitchell of California.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (1301 Orange St, Butler, MO 64730). The military honors will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
