He was predeceased by : his parents, Orville Clayton and Stella Lucille Turner Slover; his wife Joyce Slover; and his siblings, Tommy Slover, Ronnie Slover, Don Slover and Pat Brown.

He is survived by : his daughters, Christy Willis (James) of Leesville, Laurie Quick (Mark) of Butler and Paula Campbell of Lawson, Missouri; and his siblings, Jerry Slover of Belton, Missouri and Clorecia Overstreet of Raymore, Missouri.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
