He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville M. Bennett and Elsie Blue Bennett; his siblings, Wanda, Louise, Jim, Richard and Bill; and his grandson Michael Lee Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Glee Bennett of Butler, Missouri; his children, Jason Wade Bennett (Diana) of Butler, Darwin Ward Bennett (Pamela) of Iola, Derrek Todd Bennett (LaRenia) of Butler, Missouri, Reena Melinda Hicks (Anthony) of Butler and Amber Cassandra Christiansen (Raylun) of Archie, Missouri; and his brothers, Buddy Bennett of Grain Valley and David Bennett (Tana) of Texas. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
