He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Norma Jean Wilson; his sister-in-law Barbara Jenkins; his nephew Alex Jenkins; Ed Newport.

He is survived by: his wife Karla; his children, Jared of Butler, MO, Lindsey (Ryan McKoon) of Paola, KS and Candice (Jake Hess) of Manhattan, KS; his sister Patricia; his brother-in-law Wilbur Herman of Butler, MO; his sister Carol; and his brother-in-law Rick Ralston of Sibley, MO. He is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
