Though Edith may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edith touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Kimes and Laura Kimes; her husband Orval Carmichael; and her children, Roger and Barbara.
She is survived by: her former husband Rex Manley; her daughter Kim (Greg) of Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Melva Gafford of Springfield and Mary Richards of Cabool. She is also survived by six grandsons; one granddaughter; seven great grandkids.
