He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lewis Austin. He is survived by: his mother Janice Austin (Huntsman) of Cairo; his wife Vickie Austin (Moore) of Taos; his children, Brian Austin, Kendrick of Columbia and Kimberly Mannebach (Brent); his grandsons, David and Josiah of Columbia; his children, Drew Austin, Kenya Austin, Hunter Austin of Taos, Benjamin Austin of Taos and Treyton Austin of Taos; and his siblings, Kent Austin (Lori) of Longmont, Elaine Jarvis (Mark) of Columbia and Brad Austin (Rachelle) of Lake St. He is also survived by 5 nephews, 4 nieces, 3 aunts and uncles and so many cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be given to the Endowment for Collegiate Ministry at the Missouri Baptist Foundation.
