She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Edward Newman and Eunice Totsy Newman (Barnes); her husband Lewis Allen "Junior" Ellis; her parents-in-law, Lewis and Alice Ellis; her brothers, Eddie (Phyllis Newman) and Paul Bubb; her brothers-in-law, Cliff Pendergrass, Carl Ellis and Dale Ellis; her nephews, Tommy Newman, Shaun Howery and Alan Marcille Sr.; and her great-nephews, Alan Marcille and Garrett Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Rickey Ellis (Mardi), Donna Cooper (Kenny), Anna Dawson (Jerry) and Pam Cochran (David Swartz); her grandchildren, Robert Ellis, Dominik Ellis, Shari Harrington, Erik Lindquist, Shreta Irving of Gage Cooper, B. J, Switzer, TeAnna Houk, Marcus Stutzman, Lance Dawson, Alisha Huff, Crystal Snyder and Josh Cochran; her siblings, Paul Smith, John Smith (Liz), Deanna Pendergrass, Barbara Cox (Gary) and Debbie Pfeiffer; her sister-in-law Emily Ellis; and her great-nieces, Hollie Cooper (Alan) and Martha Herschberger (Andrew). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests contributions to the Clinton Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
