She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Tribble and Lena Tribble (Batchlette); and her husband Lester Briggs. She is survived by: her son Kevin E. Briggs (Cindy); her granddaughter Michelle L. Barton; her great grandchildren, Makennah J. Green, Weston S. Green and Jaxin C. Barton; and her siblings, Wilma Merriman (Kenneth), Dixie Woirhaye (Paul), Grace Higgins (James), Mary "Mae" Tribble, Pete Tribble (Beverly), Roy Tribble (Ritta) and Carl Tribble. She is also survived by her son, granddaughter, great-grandchildren, surviving siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri (314 W Jefferson St, Clinton, MO 64735). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Englewood Cemetery (1804 E Ohio St, Clinton, MO 64735).
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Croix Hospice or VFW Post #1894 and may be left in care of the funeral home.
