He was predeceased by: his stepfather Danny Pennock. He is survived by: his parents, Jackie L. Shepherd and Nadine Pennock; his wife Lydia Shepherd (Byars); his siblings, Mike Pennock, David Pennock (Teresa) and Misty Houk; his siblings-in-law, Carl Byars and Pam Byars; and his nieces and nephews, Jake Pennock (Ciara), Katie Houk, Cody Carney, Justin Byars (Dawn), Landon Huffmann, Owen Pennock, Harper Pennock, Maxx Pennock, Rileyana Paul and Haisley Houk. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins he loves.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home (314 W Jefferson St, Clinton, MO 64735). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made to the Missouri Wildlife Rescue Center and may be left in care of the funeral home.
