He was predeceased by : his parents, Ted Simonsen and Joyce Simonsen. He is survived by : his wife Janet Simonsen; his daughters, Mona Reid and Rachael Edmunds; his grandchildren, Metthea Jones, Lane Reid (Amanda), Steven Walker, Hannah Wells (Benjamin) and Matthew Walker; his great grandchildren, Nico Reid, Tatum Wells and Laney Jones; his sister Cheryl Blaine (Bill); and his pets, Brownie and Dan Patch. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions can be left to Life Ministries Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.
