He is survived by : his children, Kelly Bonavia (Jaymie), Mark Bonavia and Vanessa Bonavia; his granddaughter Meredith Bonavia; his great grandchild Jack Ketchum; his daughter Linda Chouteau; his grandchildren, Samuel Hall (Abigayle), Sophia Hall, Dominica Leone (Grater) and David Grater (Denise); his great grandchild Mia Leone; and also Joni Hall (Timothy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64138).
