We are sad to announce that, on October 6, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Donald E. Coontz of California, Missouri, born in Springfield, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hester Coontz (Willett) and Virgil Coontz; and his siblings, Virgil Coontz (Billy), Robert Coontz and Marjorie Mahany.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lee Coontz (Wiltfong); and his children, Cheryl Coontz of Kansas City, Mark Coontz (Pauline) of Monroe, Kathleen Tucker of Sun Prairie, Chet Pruett (Suzy) of Riverside and Calvin Pruett (Carla) of Belton, Missouri.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), or Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA).
