He was predeceased by: his parents, Hyman Haspiel and Ceil Haspiel; his wife Rachel Haspiel; and his brother George Haspiel. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Haspiel (Elizabeth) and Aaron Haspiel; his grandchildren, Sarah Novack (Jonathan) and Jacob Haspiel (Carly Thanhouser); his great grandchildren, Ari, Hannah Haspiel and Benjamin Novack; and his siblings-in-law, Tobi Don and Dr. Irl Don (Carol).
