He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Smith and Maxine Jaco Smith; and his parents-in-law, Cletis and Juanita Moss Deal. He is survived by: his wife Regina Deal Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Gary's final wish was that donations be made to Regina Smith to help offset living costs.
