With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Arlen Adams of California, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Arlen Adams to pay them a last tribute.

For while he may have departed from this earthly realm, his spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Adams and Grace Adams (John Higgins); his brother Harry Adams; his wife Lila Adams; his stepsons, Edward Goza Sr. and William Whitworth; and his daughter Belinda Kay Halberstadt.

He is survived by : his children, Glynnis Nava (Mark), John Adams (Cathy) of Blue Springs, Roy Adams (Tracy) of Excelsior Springs and David Adams (Kelly) of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; and his stepdaughter Christine Keehler (Jeff) of Oak Grove, Missouri.. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel (509 S Noland Rd, Independence, MO 64050). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Masonic Service and Funeral Service.
