We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2024, at the age of 88, Gerard James Merker of California, Missouri, born in New York, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene and Rose; his wife Sandy; and his sister Mary Ann. He is survived by: his children, Peggy, Mary Pat and Gerry, Jr.; his siblings, Jeanie, Kathy, Donald, David and Rick; his granddaughter Katie Rose (Derek); his great grandchildren, Max and Tommy; and his pet Hunter Lawrence.
The family is requesting donations be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor or to the Bishop Sullivan Center in lieu of flowers.
