She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Nighswonger and Edith Nighswonger (Hawkes); her sister Judy Simmons; and her sister-in-law Sherry Nighswonger. She is survived by: her husband Clarence Smith (Bud); her children, Deborah Landwehr (Larry) and Jeffrey Smith (Debbie); her brother Larry Nighswonger; her brothers-in-law, Gene Simmons and John L. Smith (Lorraine); her granddaughters, Brianne Edris, Brandi Miller (Shawn), Megan Smith (Luke Hudgins) and Samantha Hollingsworth (Cody); and her great grandchildren, Jolee, Avery Coonts, Brooklyn Miller and Corbin Heaton.
