He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey Epperson and Inez Epperson of Bowling Green, Missouri.; his wife Mary Anna Bunten; and his children, David Epperson (Carrie) of Blue Springs, Tom Epperson of Grain Valley and Janet McCarthy (Dennis) of Lenexa, Kansas.. He was also cherished by his nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and three great, great grandchildren.
The family requests donations in lieu of flowers to St. Luke's Hospice Group of Kansas City, Missouri who took such good care of him during his final weeks.
