He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jacqueline Rosen Gitel; his sons, Scott Gitel (Leslie) and Mark Gitel (Tammy); his grandchildren, Rachel DeMasi (James), Jason Gitel (Kathryn), Mitchell Gitel and Keith Gitel (Akiko); his great grandchildren, Emma, Ava, Harper Gitel and Zoe; and his sisters, Marcella Feldman (late Irv) and Marilyn Rosengarten (late Joe).
