He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Wekamp and Frances Wekamp (Meller); his wife Shirley Loesch; and his sisters, Mary, Marjorie, Betty, Patricia and Sherley.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Wekamp (Victoria) and Russell Wekamp (Kathleen); his siblings, Evelyn Steelman, Lawrence "Sonny" Wekamp and Allen Wekamp; and his grandchildren, Robert W., Leann, Angel, Robert S., Tyra, Alex and Michael. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
