He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tony Carter and Willadean Carter; his siblings, Terry, Ricky and Mike; his wife Julia Carter; his children, Crystal Layne, Jayme Decker, Emily Shipman and Paul Carter; and his grandchildren, Mia Layne, James Decker and Benjamin Decker. He was also cherished by great uncle to his nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
