He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Brizendine and Viola Brizendine (Sanders); his siblings, Bill Ponder, Marion Niehaus and Virginia Brizendine; and his nephew Daren Cram.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Brizendine; his sons, Ely of California, MO and Andrew Brizendine of California, MO; and his sister Belenda Buchanan of Holts Summit, MO. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
