She was predeceased by: her parents, John V. Velder and Evalyn P. Velder (Kaminski); her husband Virgil Johnson; and her son Lance King. She is survived by: her son John King; her stepdaughter Kimberly Treat (Jim); her siblings, Lily Pilsl (Paul), Michael Velder, Sr. and James Velder (Marian); and her pets, Rascal, Cammie and Sparky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home (104 Church St, Smithville, MO 64089).
