We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2024, at the age of 79, Betty Ruth (Buffalo) Scurlock (Camdenton, Missouri), born in Reeds, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lum Jefferson and Jewell Marie Meeks; her son Jeffrey Dame; and her siblings, Bonnie Tilden, Nora Bailes, Iva Nell Davis, William "Wig" Meeks, Leon Meeks and JD Meeks.

She is survived by : her children, Scott Dame, Shellia Palmer, Erin Dickinson, Pamela McGraw, Patricia Pierce, Larry Scurlock, Jennifer Wilson, John Timothy Scurlock and Michael Scurlock; and her sister Audrey Hedrick. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great, grandchildren, and close friends.
