He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrel Carpenter and Janice Carpenter (Young); and his siblings-in-law, Charles Brinkley and Marcia Mitchen. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carpenter; his sons, Dan Carpenter and Michael (Deborah Carpenter); his grandsons, Zachary Carpenter and Nathan Carpenter; his sisters, Gail (Glen Ferguson), Bobbie (Rick Wilson) and Patsy Brinkley; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Brown and Larry Mitchen. He is also survived by many friends and other family members.
Memorial donations may be made to Camdenton Church of Christ and left at the funeral home or the church the day of the service.
