He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Randolph and Mary Katherine Henke Minks; his wife Virginia Anne Minks (Ginny); his son Scott Sandoval; his grandson Austin Lee Thater; and his sister Janice Minks.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Minks of Florissant, Tracy Steinberg and Tara Sandoval; and his siblings, Zachary Dean Minks and Katherine Stockglausner (Mike). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
