Though Selena may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Selena touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her grandmother Georgia Mings. She is survived by: her parents, Jack Howell, Sr. (Debbie Washington) and Francis Stafford Howell (David Blocker); her husband James "David" Brown; her children, Jay Brown of Lebanon, Missouri and Leah Burkart of Springfield, Missouri; her grandchildren, Whitt, True, Pearson and Tobias; her brother Jack Howell, Jr. of Midland, Texas; and her pet Juble.
