He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Cooper and Alexine Cooper (Ward); and his siblings, Arthur, Wanda, Linda, Sandra, Laura, Harold and Sylvia.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his children, Angela Smith (Jerry) and Glen Cooper of Cameron, Missouri; his grandchildren, Melinda Hicks, Jesse Pierce and Kelsey Pierce; and his great grandchildren, John, William, Chance Hicks and Audrie Pierce.

Memorials may be given to the Mable Worship Center.
