He was predeceased by : his parents, James E. Hartford and Evelyn M. Hartford (Wright); and his sister Carolyn Horine. He is survived by : his wife Pamala; his stepchildren, Amanda Gibson, Benjamin, Lyndsi Lebert and Cameron; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Owen, Emry and Emma. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Hospice.
