Jim Peterson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jim Peterson of Cameron, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim Peterson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mahan and Lena Mahan (Reifsteck); and his brother Frank Peterson (Reifsteck). He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Lisa Walker (Mark), Todd Peterson (Dannette), Michael Peterson and Renee; and his siblings, Judy, Hattie, Kandi, Mickey and Shad. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Poland-Thompson Chapel (222 W 3rd St, Cameron, MO 64429).

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Missouri Veteran's Home Assistance League.
