He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Robert E. Harvey and Edna L. Harvey (Walker); his wife Becky; his siblings, Ron Harvey, Bobbie Shipps and Dorita Bejan (Cameron); and his daughter Jennifer Lynn Harvey. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
