He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Melvin and Aline Catherine Hurtman Workman; his children, Christopher Workman and Christina Workman; and his brother Charles Henry Workman.
He is survived by: his children, Carl Workman, Jr. of Campbell, Samuel Gilbert (Becky) of Piggott, Rickey Whitlow (Tanya) of Bono, Brandy Holloway (Josh) of Malden and Stefanie Gilbert of Campbell; and his siblings, Rondal Workman (Robin) of Virginia, Paul Guy Workman of Campbell, Mary Burnam of Campbell, Wanda Clark of Campbell, Faye Walker of Springfield and Brenda Fisher of Clarkton. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
