He was predeceased by: his father Earle Courtney; and his brother Winston Courtney. He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Courtney (Riebling) of Quincy; his siblings, Cheryl Meyer (Edward) of Canton, Wesley Courtney (Marsha) of Quincy and John Courtney (Mary Kay Costigan) of Quincy; his aunt Lela Stelter of Lincoln; his stepdaughter Kathy Hull of Liberty; and his grandchildren, Thomas and Jacob Wagner. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
