With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Buffington of Canton, Missouri, who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Buffington to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Terre W. Buffington; her son Ronald Sweet; her sisters, Betty Potts and Sue Abell; and her sister-in-law Teresa Sweet.
She is survived by: her son Kiley Turnbaugh of LaGrange; her grandchildren, Hailee Turnbaugh of St. Petersburg, Heath Turnbaugh of St. Petersburg and Levi Turnbaugh of LaGrange; her siblings, JoAnn McChristy (Gary) of New London, Joy Daggs (Doug) of Ewing, George Sweet of Palmyra, Kenny Sweet (Diane) of Mexico and Ed Sweet of Canton; her niece Cassie Vahle; and her pet Casper. She is also survived by several other nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Arnold's Funeral Home (1100 White St, Canton, MO 63435). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
