With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita K. Collins of Canton, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2026 at the age of 40. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Rita departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rita. Though Rita may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her mother Joyce Ann Rardon Nichols. She is survived by: her husband Bill Collins; her children, Levi Alspaw of Hannibal, MO, Chris Alspaw of Canton, MO, Jazlyne Collins of Canton, MO and Billy Collins of Canton, MO; and her siblings, Robert Nichols of Quincy, IL and Ruth Ann Ferrell (Eric) of Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
