We bid farewell to Arthur Dalton of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2025 at the age of 80. Arthur touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Dalton and Nelle Rhodes Dalton; and his siblings, William G. Dalton, Darris Dalton, Wayne Dalton, Nelda Crader (Jack) and Glenda Shuh (Gene).
He is survived by: his caregiver Ladonna Dalton; his daughters, Lana Lange (Bill) and Laura Hovis (Barry); his sister Suda Crawford; his sisters-in-law, Shug Dalton and Martha Dalton; and his grandchildren, Brock Lange, Grant Lange, Bennett Lange, Adam Hovis, Anna Hovis and Erica Goins (Ben).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Lynwood Chrisitan Academy.
