She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Kinsey and V. Marilyn Powell Kinsey. She is survived by: her siblings, Pat Baldwin (late Doyle) of McClure, Linda Bollinger (Wynn), Wesley Kinsey (Ann) of Cape Girardeau, David Kinsey (Fran) of Thompsonville and Susan McClanahan (Scott) of Cape Girardeau; her nieces and nephews, Laura Hutson (Craig) of Jackson, Sarah Zeller of Marion, Tarah Battaglia (Steve) of Royalton, Christa Zickfield (William) of Cape Girardeau, Nathaniel Kinsey (Ariel) of Midlothian, Ross McClanahan (Anna) of Columbia, Truman Kinsey (Mikayla) of Columbia, Annie Briscoe (Ben) of Johnston City and Lexie McClanahan of Denver, Colo.; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Olivia, Leighton, Marlie, Hadley, Gunnar, Charlie, Maverick, Emersyn, Nolan and Ella.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Centenary Global Methodist Church (300 N Ellis St, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to Lindsey Cemetery at 34422 Grapevine Trail, McClure, Ill., 62957; by donating blood, as Barb received countless units of blood products over the past couple of years; or by donating to the Redhawk Club at Southeast Missouri State University at SEMO Athletics, One University Plaza, MS 0200, Cape Girardeau, Mo., 63701, in memory of Barb Kinsey.
