Barbara Osborne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Osborne of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Hodge and Ethel Luttrell Hodge; her husband Don Osborne; her son Matthew Osborne; and her siblings, Billy Ray Hodge, Charles Hodge, Judy Debora and Willadene Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Don Allen Osborne (Chereyl), Jeff Osborne, Candice Brazil and Crystal Bartusch; her siblings, Karen Whipple, Gary Hodge (Sherri), Larry Hodge (Nina) and Ronnie Hodge; her grandchildren, Justin Osborne (Ann), Lindsey Hutson (Chris), Ashely Katerberg (Justin), Jake Brazil, McKenzey Bartusch, Zachary Smolak, Avery Smolak and Max Smolak; and her great grandchildren, Jack Hutson, Owen Osborne, Kate Hutson, Ellie Osborne, Juliette Osborne, Will Osborne and Isla Katerberg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bethany Baptist Church.
