With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernard W Kluesner of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph David and Anna Mae Marie Kluesner (Reischman); his daughter Susan Hinkebein; and his siblings, Eugene, Jerome, J. C. Kluesner, Geneva Allen, Joanna Glueck, Rita Glueck and Alberta Lundgren.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kluesner; his children, Denise McDowell (Tom) of Jackson, Linda Haynes (Mike) of Ste. Genevieve and David Kluesner (Adam Taloni) of New York; his son-in-law Ron Hinkebein of Jackson; his grandchildren, Brittney Lee (Josh), Blair Huckstep (Zach), Seth McDowell (Jenny), Chelsea Mpaka (William), Michael Haynes II (Stephanie Branaugh), Zachary McDowell (Jordi) and Lauren Billings (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Rhett, Asher Huckstep, Bryson Lee, Payton, Parker, Porter, Judah, Truett McDowell, Ayla Brielle Mpaka and Lillie Billings; and his sisters, Verneda Hopper, Mildred Kirchdoerfer, Ernestine Bueter and Catherine Elfrink.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Immaculate Conception Building Fund or the Southeast Missouri Food Bank.
