Billy Jack Harrison Obituary

Billy Jack Harrison, age 44, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Wyatt, died Sunday, January 24, 2021, in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his Sister, JoAnn Whitaker; Niece, Tiffany Merritt; Cousins, Joni Vinson, Ronnie Vinson, Tasha Walsh-McMillen, and many loving friends.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Bonnie Coker Cole; Father, Bill Harrison; Maternal Grandparents, Martha Housman Coker and Jim Coker, and Nephew David Merritt Jr.

Billy attended Charleston High, and became certified in December 2019 to start his Disability Advocate journey after completing the Disability Associates Social Security Disability Advocate Professional Training program. He was a Disability Advocate for U First Advocates, a company in which he started, and was very proud of. He absolutely loved and adored his little diva dog, Snooki!

He loved going to the casino. He was the life of every gathering/party he threw or was attending, and was a big part of the LGBT and drag community. In his earlier year, Billy performed at IP's (Independence Place) in drag, his stage name was Aurora. Billy (Aurora) won Miss Fantasy and Miss Independence Place at some of these earlier shows. He was the type of friend that would go beyond expectation for those he was close to. He always had a silly side to him and always knew how to make people laugh, as he was a huge people person and loved everyone! Billy left this world with a huge impact on many people's hearts that will never be forgotten! The family will receive friends, Tuesday, February 2, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until time for services at 7:00 p.m., at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Wavis Jordan of Cape Girardeau, will officiate.

Private burial will be at Wickliffe City Cemetery in Wickliffe, KY.
