Brenda Kain McClain Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 8, 2026, at the age of 73, Brenda Kain McClain of Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Brenda had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Brenda may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earhardt Kain and Edna Griffin Kain. She is survived by: her daughter Sara McClain of Scott City, Missouri; her sister Judy Middleton (Willard) of Cape Girardeau; and her niece Tammy Fox (David) of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and -nephews and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with expenses.
