With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Candace Palermo of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Candace may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Candace touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Leo Steger, Vince and Mona Palermo. She is survived by: her parents, Perry Palermo of Scott City, MO and Sherri Steger Palermo (Dominick Orlando) of Navarre, FL; her boyfriend Jason Keith of Cape Girardeau, MO; her sons, Benjamin Leo Joseph Palermo and Ezekiel Jace Keith; her grandmother Janet Steger; her aunt Shawna Pennington; and her uncle Scott Steger (Karen).
