Though Connie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Connie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kester and Hazel Kester (Hobbs); and her brother James Kester. She is survived by: her daughter Octavia Scharenborg of Cape Girardeau, MO; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Schuermann, John Scharenborg (Kathryn) and Joe Scharenborg. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
